Meet Victoria

No Victoria is not a person, Victoria is my new car! Yes I name my cars, my last one was Betty. (It was Scottie's old car and his brother's before that. They called it the "Blue Flame", not a fan so I changed it. It was a '99 so I think Betty suited her better.)

Anyways I could not be more excited about getting this car. It's really not new but it's new to me so yay! It's a 2010 Honda Insight, it's a hybrid and I'm in love. I love having the freedom to go any where I want. Even better it's safe for my baby. The old chevy was starting to make noises and was making me nervous to drive it (even to my mom's, which is two blocks away). I think the last time I drove it was before Nella was born. It was time to retire it.

But with me not working we couldn't afford another car. Thank goodness we have Scottie's truck. And thank goodness for awesome sisters! Scottie works on Saturdays so my sister Courtney would let me take her car to run errands and watch the bean for me. Totally awesome, but super lame for having to depend on someone else to get around. I used my sister's car to run errands, and my mom's to take Nella to the doctor. Super annoying, I hate having to ask people for stuff.

I was so excited when the weather started to get nice because we could actually get out of the house! So in short I am so excited to have this new car. I am so excited to be able to take Nella to the doctor, to go to the bank, to go to the grocery store, to do whatever I want whenever I want! It's the little things!

 There she is!

The little things like not having to say a prayer every time you get in your car some where, or like having a a real four door car (our last car only had three, for some reason one wouldn't open), or not having to worry about going up hills (seriously going up a hill was terrifying, I don't think it got past 20), or going on the highway or worry about what new noise it's making, or being embarrassed by how loud your car is, and getting looks from people. I am so happy I have a safe car for my little bean. I'm so happy we'll have AC in it for the summer and even more excited that we can actually go places in the summer! Like visiting my parents when they go camping, or going to Boston for a game! Yay for being an adult and getting a car, a nice car! Whoo hoo! Oh the places we'll go!

Clearly Nella enjoys it. And so do I!
